Cable, this is nothing new.
I read on Msnbc that Cablevision announced that as of today three million of its cable customers will have caller id on screen. Comcast has plans to market this feature in markets in the future. Time Warner currently offers it in some areas.
What I can’t figure out is why this is big news. I have DirecTv satellite televison and we’ve had this feature built into our receiver for a while now.
My sister in KY has that and it is so cool.

I think it’s neat. My parents have it and don’t really like it. For me it means I don;t have to find the phone to look at the caller id.
