Ever wonder about tv shows and the seasons? For a long time many shows started in  September, and ended somewhere between March and May. Now, many network shows begin anytime between September and October. Now it seems everybody is working on their own calendar. Law and Order isn’t premiering their season until January 2008. Shows like The Dead Zone run their whole season during the major networks off season, a plan that makes sense to me and fills up open time slots nicely. Shows such as Big Love that are on premium movie channels have a short season that only runs every year to year and a half. I wonder if advertisers find it confusing.
