New reality game shows
Has anyone seen the commercials for the two new shows Wipeout and I Survived A Japanese Game Show? I’m not a big fan of reality shows but these shows look worse than most if you ask me. Wipeout will be broadcast on ABC on Tuesdays at 8pm and will feature twenty four contestants in what ABC calls the world’s largest extreme obstacle course. One of the commercials shows a wall of something that looks like boxing gloves coming out of it to ram the contestant’s body. I Survived A Japanese Game Show will be broadcast on ABC and will feature ten contestants being flown to Japan to compete in a game show there. Are you planning on watching either of these shows?
Is this the best the networks can come up with? The commercials are enough to watch. They are getting on my nerves. No way will I watch these shows.
Karen, I agree. They’re awful. I think they’re cramming reality shows down our throats now because they don’t need writers as other shows do so they aren’t effected by strikes, etc.
