Some companies are feeling the economic pinch as much as individuals like you and I. I’ve stopped seeing some commercials and others have changed.  One type of commercial that seems to be going strong is those commercials for cheap life insurance for senior citizens. I don’t mind these much, as far as commercials go - they’re less annoying than some of the others. Besides giving a little information they also seem to be a great way for retired celebrities to bring in a little income, no?

I remember when big screen televisions started becoming popular. Yes, way back when. When we looked into buying one we were told to never pause for more than a few seconds and to never play video games on it. We were also told we’d have to buy some kind of bulbs on a regular basis. Projector headlights as it were. I’m glad we waited and didn’t buy way back then. Technology is much better and prices are too.

With the job market being what it is I believe we’ll see more people turning off their tvs and trying to better themselves. That includes furthering their education. Gonzaga University, ranked one of the nations best universities by The Princeton Review and Forbes Magazine and ranked #3 in the West by US News and World Report, offers an Online masters degree program. I think that education is important and that anyone who wants to pursue a higher education should be applauded. The great thing about online programs are that they’re convenient and allow you to spend time with your family and even keep your job. If I could afford to continue my college education I certainly would. Online learning would fit my busy schedule nicely. What do you think about it?

You can always tell when flea season has arrived. It’s summer and it’s hot and I’m starting to see a lot more television commercials for dog and cat supplies, especially flea products. What many people don’t realize, and the commercials don’t say, is that fleas can be a year round problem. If your pet gets them and you don’t get rid fo them they live year round on your pet, in carpeting and furniture. So if you find flea stock up on supplies and kill em all.

How can you not love this comercial? The commercial features well endowed women discussing their chest and bra.

“I refer to myself as just stacked…”
“They used to be up here and now down here…”
“They’ll fall out here and fall out over there…”
“It’s hard to control them…”
“I need a bra that’s going to pick it up and put it back…”

I’ve thought all of these things. I love truth in advertising!
