Yes Man review

Yes Man came out on DVD last week and hubby and I watched it. I enjoyed it. Jim Carrey wasn’t quite as bold or silly in this movie as he was in others but it was quite enjoyable nonetheless. The movie is a PG13.

Jim Carrey portrays Carl Allen. Carl is divorced and is depressed because he’s never gotten over his wife Stephanie leaving him. He has no life except for his job at the bank and watching videos, he even avoids his friends. An old acquaintance Nick tells him about a seminar that changed his life. Carl goes to the seminar and ends up joining the group of people that say yes to everything.

Carl gives a homeless man a ride and winds up meeting a younger woman names Allison. He starts going out with Allison. He starts socializing with his boss Norm. In saying yes to everything he starts living his life once again. I don’t want to spoil the ending so I’ll just say that I enjoyed the movie. I liked the scene where he got his Tempurpedic bed the best.
