So as many ABC soap opera fans know, All My Children has been canceled. The last air date has finally been announced, it will be on Friday, September 23. The soap has been on the air for 41 years. ABC stated that the soap was being canceled so they could evolve their daytime programming. The time slot will be taken over by a new show called The Chew. The Chew will be an hour long food show featuring Top Chef favorite Carla Hall, Iron Chef Michael Symon, nutrition expert Daphne Oz, What Not to Wear’s Clinton Kelly and Mario Batali.
