Hubby and I have noticed for a couple of years now that less and less original movies are coming out. What I mean is that we’re seeing more and more remakes. It’s probably a safe bet that many of the successful movies that were out fifteen to twenty years ago have been remade or are in the process of being remade. You can get away with it with some, but it’s so rare that the remake is better than the first. I think the industry would be better off trying to think up some new ideas. After all, it isn’t possible that every good storyline in the universe has been turned into a good movie.
