A comedy reality food show idea

Last month most of us learned the details of Michael Phelps’ 12,000 calorie a day in-training diet. He eats about 4,000 calories per meal, more than many of us eat in a typical day. He must eat out, because he certainly isn’t carting around all of his food in Swiss Army luggage. He must spend a while at the table during each meal. That got me to thinking. A funny reality show would be one that showcased people with high calorie diets eating in restaurants. It would be like the time my whole family went to Walt Disney World. My hubby RB can eat a lot. We were eating at the Brown Derby and most of us couldn’t finish our meals, so we offered them to RB. He finished his own plate and all of ours. The plates kept stacking up next to him and the server couldn’t believe that the tiny guy ate all of the food. He actually looked under the table to see if food had somehow made it’s way to the floor.

Computer learning channel

I was watching tv today. As I was changing the channel I realized that with all of the diy shows on now there aren’t really any for computer use. We can find plenty of shows to help teach us how to do things around the house and to help us learn how to cook. But there really aren’t any that teach how to do things on a computer. There could be shows for people just starting to blog, teaching viewers everything from step one, how to install. People wanting to learn how to build a static website could watch shows on coding, design, even shopping cart options (paypal or authorize.net). I bet the channel would do well. What do you think of the idea? What kind of shows would you want to see on such a channel?

New show idea

Not too long ago one of the Victoria’s Secret fashion shows was on. I believe it “happened” to be on the television three times while hubby was watching. Ummm yeas, that’s quite a coincidence. I was wondering something though. So many people watch those shows, both men and women alike. Men want them and women want to look like them. Why doesn’t Victoria’s Secret make a show exclusively for bridal lingerie? That would surely get lots of attention and grab a new piece of the television advertising market. What do you think? Good idea or bad?
