ER Final Season premiere

We just finished watching the ER season premiere. For anyone that doesn’t know, this is ER’s fifteenth and final season.I’d read they were going to oull out all the stops and try to bring back old characters. I knew they’d keep up the good writing. But I never expected the season to start with the bang that it did this year. Had I not been sitting on our big modern sofa I probably would have fallen over when I realized that Dr Pratt was dying in the season premiere. I knew they’d have to wrap up all storylines somehow with the show ending, I guess I just didn’t expect it to start that way. I thought the episode was well done. Who else saw it? What did you think?

Privileged premiere repeat

For once I’m glad that an episode of a show is going to be shown again. The new series Privileged premiered last week. I’d hoped to check it out but I forgot it was on and missed it. The premiere episode will be replayed this Sunday 09/14/08 at 8pm est for me. The normal time slot for this show will be Tuesdays at 9pm on the CW network. All I know about this series is that it’s about a woman who becomes a tutor for spoiled twin granddaughters of a rich woman in Palm Beach. I’ll take a peek at it. The pics online showed all young attractive people that looked like they’re prefer to have Lasik surgery rather than wear eyeglasses. Did you see the premiere? What did you think?

Dirty Sexy Money to return 10/01/08

I loved this show last season! It’s got a bit of everything in it. They did a terrific job casting all of the characters, and I think the interaction and chemistry between them all is great. We haven’t had a new episode since December, so I’m betting everyone will return looking rested and like they’ve been on one of those fancy European cruises. I want to know why Simon and Karen are meeting. I think Brian would fit into the Darling scheming corporate world well now that he’s been disbarred. And will we find out what happened to Carmelita? Lucy Liu is joining the show as an attorney, I wonder how they’re going to tie that in.

Raising The Bar premiere tonight

A new legal drama called Raising The Bar is set to premiere tonight. It’s different from the other legal dramas on television in that it focuses on the lives of attorneys from the Public Defenders office and the District Attorney’s office both in and out of the courtroom. Raising The Bar premieres tonight and will be shown on TNT at 10pm/9pm central.

Samantha Who

I watched the series premiere of Samantha Who. It’s a half hour comedy series starring Christina Applegate, and it’s about a woman who has amnesia. We begin in the hospital where Samantha is waking from a coma. Her mother is played by Jean Smart and her father is played by Kevin Dunn. She is released from the hospital and goes to her parents’ house where she meets her best friend. She realizes she cannot live with her parents and goes to her apartment which she shares with her boyfriend Todd, played by Barry Watson. It’s hinted they have some issues. She goes to a party with her boyfriend, where she discovers she’s cheating on him with a married man named Rene, whom she has no memory of even after he kisses her. She finds a 30 day AA chip in her purse and goes to a meeting where she can’t remember what foods she likes (which serves as a great analogy for everything going on in her life). She is asked to leave the meeting. She goes home and during the conversation with her boyfriend discovers he’d broken up with her just before the accident. I liked it and will watch it again.
